How to List Your Space on Kingdom Connect
The Spaces feature allows churches, ministries, and Christian organisations to list rooms and venues that are available for hire. Whether it is a meeting room, a hall, a recording studio, or a full church building, you can list it here and reach people who need a suitable space in your area.
Before you can add a space, you must first register as a space provider. Visit Spaces → List Your Space from the navigation, complete the provider registration, and then return to add your listings.
Basic Information
Space Title is required. Give your space a clear, descriptive name — for example, Main Hall, Boardroom, or Recording Suite. If you are listing several rooms within the same building, each should be added as a separate listing with its own distinct title.
Description — Describe the space in detail. What is it suited for? What atmosphere does it have? Include any key features you have not captured elsewhere, such as natural lighting, a stage, or proximity to transport links. The more useful your description, the easier it is for people to decide whether the space fits their needs.
Location
There are two ways to set the location for your space:
- At a Kingdom Connect Church — Toggle this on if the space is within a church that is already listed on Kingdom Connect. Search for and select the church from the dropdown. The address and coordinates will be imported automatically, saving you re-entering details that are already on the platform.
- Manual Address Entry — If the space is not at a listed church, use the location picker to search for the address. Once found, confirm the pin on the map. You will also need to enter the City (required) and optionally the postcode.
Capacity and Size
- Maximum Capacity — The maximum number of people the space can accommodate. This is displayed on the listing and helps bookers quickly assess suitability.
- Floor Area (m²) — The approximate floor area of the space. Useful for events that require a specific amount of floor space, such as exercise classes, exhibitions, or conferences.
Facilities
Select every facility that your space includes from the list below. Bookers frequently filter spaces by facilities, so the more accurately you mark these, the more relevant enquiries you will receive.
- Wi-Fi
- Projector
- Screen
- Sound system
- Kitchen
- Toilets
- Disabled toilet
- Car parking
- Stage
- Piano
- Tables and chairs
- Whiteboard
- Air conditioning
- Heating
You can use the search box above the list to quickly filter and find a facility. Selected facilities appear as tags in a summary below the list.
Accessibility Information — Use the text area to describe any accessibility provisions, such as step-free access, hearing loops, or accessible toilet facilities. Even if you have ticked Disabled toilet above, this field allows you to provide fuller context.
Availability
Set which days and hours your space is generally available. These are used to give bookers an initial indication of availability and are not a live booking calendar.
- Available Days — Select all days on which the space can normally be hired (Monday through Sunday). You can select multiple days.
- Available From / To — Set the general start and end times for availability on those days. For example, 09:00 to 21:00.
- Minimum Booking Duration — The shortest booking you will accept, in hours (e.g. 1 hour, 2 hours). Half-hour increments are supported.
- Maximum Booking Duration — The longest single booking you will accept (e.g. 8 hours for a full day). Leave blank if there is no maximum.
Pricing
All pricing fields are optional. If you prefer to discuss pricing directly with enquirers, you can leave them blank — the listing will show Price on Application.
- Per Hour (£) — Your standard hourly rate.
- Half Day (£) — A flat rate for a half-day booking, typically 3–4 hours. If you offer this option, set it here.
- Full Day (£) — A flat rate for a full-day booking. This is often better value than the hourly rate and can encourage longer bookings.
- Pricing Notes — Use this field to add any clarifications, such as "Discounted rates available for charities", "Church hire includes use of kitchen", or "Weekend rates may vary".
Contact and Booking
- Contact Email — The email address that booking enquiries should be sent to. This can differ from your provider account email.
- Contact Phone — A phone number for direct enquiries.
- External Booking URL — If your space has its own online booking system (e.g. through Calendly, a church management system, or a dedicated website), add the link here. Visitors will see a Book Online button on your listing.
Photos
Photos are one of the most important parts of a space listing. Listings with photos receive significantly more enquiries than those without.
Main Feature Photo — This is the hero image shown at the top of your listing and on the spaces directory cards. Choose a wide, well-lit photo that gives the best overall impression of the space. Maximum file size is 8 MB; supported formats are JPG, PNG, and WebP.
Gallery Photos — Add up to ten additional photos showing different angles, facilities, or configurations of the space. Each gallery photo can also have a short title (up to 60 characters) and a description (up to 200 characters) to provide context for what is shown.
Tips for great space photos:
- Photograph during daylight hours if possible to show natural light.
- Include a photo from the entrance so people know what to expect on arrival.
- If the space is large, photograph it both empty and set up for an event.
- Show any key facilities such as the kitchen, stage, or AV equipment.
After Submitting
Once your space is saved, it will be listed on your provider dashboard. From there you can add more spaces, manage enquiries, and update your listings at any time. Enquiries from people interested in hiring your space will arrive in your provider inbox.
If you have any questions about listing your space, or if you need help with a specific situation, get in touch with the Kingdom Connect team through the Contact page.
