Places — Terms of Use
These terms apply to anyone who lists a venue or retreat on Kingdom Connect ("Providers") and anyone who submits an enquiry about a listed place ("Enquirers"). By using the Places feature, you agree to these terms alongside our general Terms and Conditions.
1. What Kingdom Connect Is (and Is Not)
Kingdom Connect operates as a directory and introductory service. We provide a platform that helps providers advertise their venues and retreats, and helps those seeking places to find and enquire about them.
Kingdom Connect is not:
- A party to any hire or booking agreement between a provider and an enquirer
- A booking agent, letting agent, or property manager
- Responsible for verifying the accuracy of listing information
- A guarantor of availability, suitability, condition, or safety of any listed venue or retreat
All hire agreements, payments, and arrangements are solely between the provider and the enquirer. Kingdom Connect has no involvement in, and no responsibility for, any transaction, agreement, or dispute arising between them.
2. Providers: Listing Your Venue or Retreat
By registering as a provider and creating a listing, you confirm that:
- You are the owner of the venue or retreat, or have the legal authority to advertise it
- All listing information — including availability, pricing, facilities, images, and contact details — is accurate and up to date
- You take full responsibility for the accuracy of your listing and for keeping it current
- You will respond to enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- You will not use Kingdom Connect to advertise places that are unsafe, illegal, or otherwise unsuitable for use
- You understand that Featured and Top Featured placement is a visibility benefit only and does not represent an endorsement or recommendation by Kingdom Connect
- You have appropriate insurance in place for your venue or retreat and any activities that take place there
Kingdom Connect reserves the right to remove any listing at any time if it is found to be inaccurate, inappropriate, or in breach of these terms. Removal does not entitle a provider to a refund of any subscription fees already paid.
3. Enquirers: Making an Enquiry
By submitting an enquiry through Kingdom Connect, you confirm that:
- You understand this is an enquiry only — submitting a form does not constitute a confirmed booking
- Availability shown on a listing is indicative only. You must confirm availability directly with the provider before making plans, committing to a date, or making any payment
- Any agreement to hire or book a venue or retreat, and any payment made, is solely between you and the provider. Kingdom Connect is not involved in and has no liability for that arrangement
- You will use any contact details provided only for the purpose of enquiring about the specific listing, and will not use them for unsolicited commercial communications
4. Availability Information
The days and times shown on a listing indicate when a venue or retreat is typically available. This information is provided by the provider and is not a guarantee that the place is available on any specific date or time.
Always confirm availability directly with the provider before making any plans, commitments, or payments.
5. Pricing Information
Pricing shown on listings is provided by the provider. Kingdom Connect does not verify pricing accuracy and prices may change without notice. Always confirm the current price directly with the provider.
Kingdom Connect does not process payments between enquirers and providers. All payments, deposits, and financial arrangements are made directly between the provider and the enquirer.
6. Hire and Booking Agreements
Any hire or booking agreement — including its terms, conditions, cancellation policy, and liability provisions — is solely between the provider and the enquirer. Kingdom Connect recommends that both parties agree the terms in writing before any payment is made.
Kingdom Connect accepts no responsibility for any financial loss, property damage, personal injury, or dispute arising from any such arrangement.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kingdom Connect shall not be liable for:
- Any loss or damage arising from, or inability to use, a listed venue or retreat
- Any inaccuracy in listing information provided by a provider
- Any dispute, financial loss, or personal injury arising from a hire or booking agreement
- Any failure by a provider to respond to an enquiry
- Any interruption or unavailability of the Kingdom Connect platform
8. Disputes Between Providers and Enquirers
Kingdom Connect does not mediate disputes between providers and enquirers. If a dispute arises from an arrangement, both parties should seek to resolve it directly. If that is not possible, you may wish to seek independent legal advice. UK residents may also be able to seek assistance from Citizens Advice.
9. Reporting Concerns
If you believe a listing is inaccurate, fraudulent, or in breach of these terms, please contact us and we will investigate.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Places feature after updates are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
